Dylan Colussi obtained a PhD at Università Iuav di Venezia, dedicating his research to exploring the plurality of meanings of archives and archiving within fashion.
He is adjunct professor in Fashion Curation at Università di Bologna. He is associate curator of the exhibition “After Steps Through Work. Fendi / Karl Lagerfeld 1985”, curated by Maria Luisa Frisa (GNAMC, Rome, 2026). With Maria Luisa Frisa, he worked as assistant curator of travelling exhibition “Gucci Cosmos” (West Bund Art Center, Shanghai; 180 Studios, London, 2023 and Kyoto City KYOCERA Museum of Arts, Kyoto, 2024) and “Memorabile. Ipermoda” (MAXXI, Rome, 2024).
Since 2018 he is curating the archive of the Emilio Pucci Heritage Hub in Florence, for which he co-edited the book “Pucci. The Art of Fashion” (Rizzoli - Scripta Maneant, 2025).
